Over/Sobre/About

Sinds oktober 2023 woon ik in Villanueva de Algaidas. De reden hiervoor is, dat ik al jaren roep dat ik in Spanje wil wonen en mijn leven nu zo is, dat ik dat ook kan doen. Voor onbepaalde tijd. In Nederland heb ik de laatste jaren gewerkt als ZZP-er, voornamelijk als verandermanager in de zorg. Een hele leuke uitdaging, maar ook een hele drukke. Omdat ik, voordat ik mijn bedrijf op startte, ook veel creatief bezig was, wilde ik dat weer oppakken. Ik ben weer gaan schilderen, maar heb ook een cursus textieldrukken gedaan. Dit is mijn nieuwe passie geworden. Mijn grootste irritatiepunt met bedrukt textiel is, dat of de print snel vervaagd of lelijk wordt, of het textiel zelf van slechte kwaliteit is. Dat is iets waar ik voor zal waken! Een bedrukt t shirt bijvoorbeeld moet jaren mee gaan! Vandaar mijn slogan: crafted with passion, worn with pride.

Desde octubre de 2023 vivo en Villanueva de Algaidas. La razón de esto es que llevo años diciendo que quiero vivir en España y mi vida ahora es así, que puedo hacer eso. Indefinidamente. En los últimos años he trabajado como freelance en los Países Bajos, principalmente como gestor de cambios en el sector sanitario. Un reto muy bonito, pero también muy ajetreado. Debido a que también era muy creativo antes de comenzar mi empresa, quería retomarlo. Empecé a pintar de nuevo, pero también hice un curso de estampación textil. Esto se ha convertido en mi nueva pasión. Mi mayor irritación con los textiles estampados es que, o bien el estampado se desvanece rápidamente o se vuelve feo, o bien el textil en sí es de mala calidad. ¡Eso es algo que tendré en cuenta! ¡Una camiseta estampada, por ejemplo, debería durar años! De ahí mi eslogan: hecho a mano con pasión, llevado con orgullo.

Since October 2023, I have been living in Villanueva de Algaidas. The reason for this is that I have been saying for years that I want to live in Spain and my life is now like this, that I can do that. Indefinitely. In recent years I have worked as a freelancer in the Netherlands, mainly as a change manager in healthcare. A very nice challenge, but also a very busy one. Because I was also very creative before I started my company, I wanted to pick that up again. I started painting again, but I also did a course in textile printing. This has become my new passion. My biggest irritation with printed textiles is that either the print fades quickly or becomes ugly, or the textile itself is of poor quality. That's something I'll watch out for! A printed t-shirt, for example, should last for years! Hence my slogan: crafted with passion, worn with pride.
